To the land of stones that are yellow, and bears that are free The wolves do howl, that’s where you’ll be!
On a foggy palisade morning, the pines you’ll smell By that statue you’ll stand, wait...to that real buffalo wish a quick farewell!
Oh the things that you’ll see, like a bulldogger out of a chute A bucking bronco, a rodeo clown, isn’t that bull a brute?
Past the elk to the mountains, you’ll ride on your steed From the trail...a moose! Could be!
Atop the pinnacle afresh from your gondola ride For lunch, the valley below, the view is hard to transcribe
Breathtaking your Adventure will be, the Grand Tetons your backdrop You’ll surely treasure that old jagged rock
Then, as you leave Wyoming for Ohio’s lake Take captive every memory for Adventure’s sake!!!
Confrontationally affrayed against Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis (FSGS), 12 year old Ava, from Medina, OH went to Yellowstone and the Grand Teton National Parks in Wyoming.
An Adventure it was, from her cabin in the woods at the Grand Teton Lodge....horseback riding from Colter Bay Village on Jackson Lake up to the heights of the Grand Tetons was conquested!
Viewing the stunning Grand Teton Mountain Range, past Heron Pond and on to Swan Lake, winding through the lodgepole pine forest, and ending in a meadow…..
Moose, wolf, elk, and bison ...to name a few Gushing geysers, waterfalls, volcanic pools, the Grand Prismatic…. Oh what Ava saw, joy she did pursue!!
To the high alpine terrain…...for a lunch at the top, yes tis but lore.. The Bridger Gondola whisked her over 2,700 vertical feet above the valley floor.
Although scheduled for a day of archery training and shooting, and the weather chose not to cooperate, the rainy day did not ruin the parade….and instead, Ava and her family were given shooting lessons…
Starting out with an AR-15, Ava progressed the the big gun….a .50 Cal
Brave Young Hearts would like to extend a forward rest munitions thanks to Emily, Ashleigh, Lynn, Shepard, and the Jackson Hole Gun Club, for donating an incredible day of personal instruction and shooting fun!!!
How about a boat ride at Jenny Lake? Off to String Lake for some swimming...an awesome hike to Phelp’s Lake overlook on the Death Canyon trailhead?

What do you call a bull that fell asleep at the rodeo?
A bulldozer!
Ava’s last night in Jackson Hole wrangled up a spurring good time!!
